Senior Direct Marketing Manager

  • Develop overall direct marketing strategy and execution plans to build competitive advantage and support business objectives to include:
    • writing creative briefs
    • driving creative & messaging direction for marketing efforts
    • managing program budgets
    • tracking revenue and analyzing program results (ROI)
    • making go-forward recommendations
    • sharing learning with the organization
  • Design and execute marketing tests aimed at increasing customer sign-ups and achieving improved economics. Establish test objectives, test scenarios and analysis of campaign results. Communicate actionable recommendations based on insights and analysis.
  • Work with product marketing, business managers and external clients to coordinate marketing tests and initiatives and design processes to improve marketing efficiency.
  • Build strong working relationships with external clients. Develop offer strategy proposals and test plans for clients.
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills required for frequent project / assessment and acumen to make “mid-flight” changes.
  • Be able to creatively design a direct marketing program, produce, manage talent and deliver strong written and visual pieces.
  • Liaison with design teams to execute marketing objectives.
  • Analyzing competitor activity to ensure the product offering and promotions are attractive.
Education and/or Experience
  • 5-8 years of progressive experience in marketing and customer experience; -within that, a minimum of 3+ years on-line marketing experience with demonstrated success developing on-line marketing plans that increase demand generation and revenue.
  • BA/BS required. MBA desirable.


Additional Requirements

  • Excellent analytic skills coupled with a deep understanding and experience in direct marketing: tactics, creative, offers, segments/markets coupled with a genuine desire to understand consumer behavior as it related to Adteractive's business lines.
  • Experience initiating and building mutually beneficial marketing relationships with third parties or external partners
  • Ability to manage multiple efforts at different stages simultaneously; excellent organizational and project mgt skills.
  • Ability to develop and manage a complex testing matrix with a demonstrated ability to measure, track and report program results over time
  • Strong skills in budget management, ROI calculation and quality control
  • Solid development and Web production experience.
  • Strong creative management experience, including managing outside creative vendors and proofreading skills.
