WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO:
THE TOOLING EXCHANGE is a market expansion representative to a select group of three "Class A" tool & die shops in Ontario, Canada. Our shops have been in business collectively for over 80 years and have a solid history of developing innovative solutions in die tooling, special machines and fixtures.
The mission of The Tooling Exchange is to advance these quality-driven and competitively-priced suppliers beyond their traditional customer base into wider and more diverse markets.
THE ROLE OF THE REP:
This process requires collaboration with independent reps capable of locating and delivering information on global opportunities involving: metal stamping dies, special machines, fixtures and machined components. The Tooling Exchange defines these independent reps as "Locators".
HOW IT WORKS:
A locator sends a REQUEST FOR QUOTATION to the tooling exchange
The Tooling Exchange forwards the RFQ to one of its shops.
Shop submits quotation directly to customer
Should the Quotation be accepted followed by a Purchase Order and signed contract, the locator is paid a locator fee which is a commission between 3% and 7% of the value of the contract.
THIS WORK INVOLVES LOCATING AND DELIVERING RFQs. NO INVOLVEMENT WITH PROJECT LIASON OR FOLLOWUP.
SIC Codes: 3544 and 3542
